Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Marrakech. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city on your own for the rest of the day; your local expert will be happy to advise! In the evening, be sure to head to the main square Jemaa el Fna, which is full of musicians, performers, snake charmers, games, food stalls, etc. If you want to enjoy it from a distance, there are many cafes around the square where you can sit and dine while watching the show. There are many choices for dinner tonight: most of the top chefs working for the royal family are from Marrakech, and here are some of the best foods in the country-especially street food!
After breakfast, you will explore the city tour of Marrakech with a knowledgeable tour guide. The tour starts from the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque as the landmark of Marrakech which has inspired other buildings such as the Giralda of Seville and the Hassan Tower of Rabat. Your next stop is the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
The Saadian tombs in Marrakech date back from the time of the sultan Ahmad al-Mansur. The tombs were discovered in 1917 and were restored by the Beaux-arts service. The mausoleum comprises the interments of about sixty members of the Saadian Dynasty that originated from the valley of the Draa River.
After the lunch break, You Continue to the world-famous Jemaa el Fna Square, which houses an array of food, snake charmers, local musicians, and fortune-tellers. There’s nowhere on Earth like the Jemaa el Fna, the square at the heart of old Marrakesh. You will also walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts.
After breakfast we will take you to visit the famous YSL Gardens, one of the beautiful gardens in Morocco. Then we drive to Essaouira, making a stop at an argan oil cooperative, learning how the golden oil is produced using traditional techniques. Upon arrival in Essaouira, a picturesque fishing town located on the southwest coast of Morocco, we take you to your Riad. With a great beach to the south, Essaouira has become one of the most popular seaside towns in Morocco. Many of the country's woodcarvers and artists make Essaouira their home.
After breakfast at your hotel, set out on your own to explore the compact historic center ringed by fortifications with great views of the ocean. You have the freedom to see and do what you want. You can sip mint tea in the Moulay el Hassan square, browse for souvenirs at the bazaars, or try freshly caught, local seafood at an open-air restaurant. In the afternoon, begin the return journey to Marrakech.
The next morning at 9:00 am after breakfast, we depart to the desert through the Atlas Mountains, through the port of Tizin "Tichka with stops for photos and to enjoy beautiful panoramic views. Visit a cooperative of argan oil producers where we will discover the process of extraction and use of this precious oil. Then we reach the fortified town of Ait Benhaddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), this spectacular landmark was featured in films such as "Gladiator" and "The Jewel of the Nile". After lunch, we continue our journey to Ouarzazate, considered the great door of the desert. We will follow the Valley of Roses through the large palm grove of Skoura and Boumalne.
After breakfast, you can walk through the Dades Valley, then take the car to roll down the road of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through villages and the Jewish Tinghir Kasbah. Arrive in Todra in time for lunch, take a walk in the gorge before taking the road to the desert of Merzouga via Rissani and Erfoud. Arrive at Merzouga in the evening.
Start your Saharan journey from Merzouga with a visit to a Nomad village, and enjoy a lunch break in a Kasbah hotel by the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will have some time relaxing by the pool before the next part of your adventure.
You will walk or ride by camel over the sands as the sun begins to set and as you reach the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes, witness them turning a wonderful red hue.
As night falls, listen to the intoxicating beat of Berber drum music and song, enjoying a Moroccan home-cooked feast before sleeping under the stars in your private Luxury tent with a private bathroom and hot shower. Today you will enjoy an unforgettable night camping in the middle of the Desert with a Gala dinner.
Option for ATV ride in the dunes. After breakfast, we will explore the desert region and the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi with a 4WD vehicle. We will circle the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the Bedouin way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We'll visit the Black Village at five to see the Gnaoua musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon, we will return to have night in Luxury camp in desert with dinner, music, and overnight under the stars.
Wake up early to see the sunrise on the great dune and have breakfast and shower in the camp. We return on camels or in 4×4 to where we left. To continue our journey, we will leave the desert and travel through the Tafilalt region and the Atlas mountains. After a quick lunch stop at the apple town of Midelt, we will visit the cedar forest monkeys near Azrou and stop again in Ifran. Later in the afternoon, we will arrive in Fez where we will spend the night in a local Riad in the Medina.
After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Fez from your Riad. Visit historical sites such as the Royal Palace, one of the oldest and largest in Morocco, the Mellah or Jewish quarter founded in 1438 and the first in Morocco, as well as the famous Merinid Tombs dating from the Merinid dynasty.
Later, we will enter the winding old and fortified city of Fez el Bali, proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. You will visit historical sites such as the magnificent mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and the medieval university of Karaouiyine, as well as the leather tanneries used for 1000 years.
Return to your Riad and have dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
After breakfast, we drive to Chaouen, the pearl of the north and one of the most beautiful cities of northern Morocco, and you will appreciate the beautiful colors of faded blue and white of the city. We will cross the beautiful landscapes of the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen. Once in Chefchaouen, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace: visit the old Kasbah, the Outa Hamam square, the Chaouen art museum and stroll through the small blue streets to admire beautiful pictures of the city.
After having breakfast with a panoramic view from the terrace of your Riad, you start your exploration of Chefchaouen’s Kasbah that has been built by the legendary ruler Moulay Ismail in the early 18th century. You will be surprised by the beautiful view of the gardens surrounding the Kasbah and the ethnographic museum which comprises antique weapons, musical instruments, and photographs of the old town. Then we go for lunch in a traditional restaurant. After lunch, we go to see the beautiful view of sunset from the Mountains. After that, we visit the square Plaza Uta el-Hammam. The square is lined with cafes and restaurants, all serving similar fare. This is a peaceful place to relax and watch the world go by, particularly after a long day of exploration.
After breakfast, we drive to Tetouan, the White City, then continue on to Tangier to visit the cave of Hercules, and view Spain across the Mediterranean Sea. Lunch in Assilah. After lunch, we will continue on to Rabat. Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Accommodation in a Riad in the old Medina.
After breakfast, we will visit Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. This morning, after breakfast in Morocco’s administrative capital city Rabat, which rests along the shores of the Bouregreg River and the Atlantic Ocean, it’s known for landmarks that speak to its Islamic and French-colonial heritage, including the Kasbah of the Udayas. This Berber-era royal fort is surrounded by formal French-designed gardens and overlooks the ocean. The city’s iconic Hassan Tower is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat. Begun in 1195, the tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world along with the mosque, also intended to be the world’s largest.
After the sightseeing of Rabat, we continue our journey to Casablanca.
After breakfast in your hotel, we will head to the city center and get a chance to visit the Hassan II Mosque, "one of the largest mosques in the world outside of Mecca" with your local guide and the Habus neighborhood, to explore the beauty of the city and its buildings. After that, we will continue to the airport. End of our services with big wishes to see you other time.
